Catching up!

Wow it's been awhile since I've posted! Geneva is 7 months old! She has grown so much and too fast.  She is on baby food and loves every bit of it! she is crawling and sitting her self up now. Still no teeth though I think I see two working their way through. Geneva has such a fun personality! She is a wonderful baby. She currently weighs 17.7 lbs and is about 26in long. She recently met my dad! I was so Happy to have them finally meet!

I can't Thank God enough for a wonderful little girl He has given me. Michael and I enjoy her more and more each we. She amazes us daily! That's all for now. :)

Geneva's 4 month check up!

Today Geneva had her 4 month check up. She is 13 lbs and 6 oz and 23 and 3/4ths in long. She is in the 40th percentile for her weight and the 69th percentile for her height. Her shots did not go so well. She has slept most of the day. She is now starting to roll over and trying to eat her toes and is teething. Her doctor said we can start cereal and stage one Gerber baby foods. I can't believe she is 4 months! A year ago on 7/23/11 Michael and I  had our first positive home pregnancy test. This past year has gone by since fast. Geneva is growing and changing so much! The picture below is her from newborn to 4 months.

4 months old!

I haven't posted in a long time. I have been busy. Geneva is now 4 months old! Where has the time gone! She can smile, laugh, roll over both ways, grab her feet and is now starting to grab toys. We go Tuesday for her 4 months check up and shots. I am not looking forward to seeing her get them. I hate to see her in pain.

I have currently gone back to work full time. I am gone at night so it's adjustment for the all of us. Geneva is trying to get used to not being nursed to sleep anymore. I miss it also. I'll try to post more with her milestone achievements

Catching up

As you can see I had sweet Geneva. She was born on March 22,2012 at 6:43 pm. She was 6lbs 15 oz and 19 1/2 in long. Labor went well. I was in active labor for about 7 1/2 hours but from checking in to her delivery it was about 12 hours. I didn't actually get admitted for a few hours.  She is doing well. Breastfeeding was a challenge a first but we are getting better each day. I can't believe its been % weeks already. It seems like just yesterday I gave birth to her. I go back to work in two weeks and I am not ready for that. I keep telling my self that its only two days a week. We are still working on her not wanting to sleep on me every night. Its getting there just very slowly. Geneva is generally a good baby. I couldn't be more blessed with such a beautiful and sweet baby girl! From now on I will be blogging about her life and milestones!

How far along: 37 weeks(3 weeks left woot woot!!!!)

Size of baby Findley: Watermelon 19-22 in,6.5lbs

Gender:Girl Geneva Catherine

Maternity Clothes:Pants Yes! Shirts Yes! 

Movement: There is still lots of movement. She has started getting the hiccups more often now. 

Sleep:Sleep is back not being be friend these days. 

Symptoms:I have started getting Braxton Hicks contractions! They are getting my ready for the real thing

Cravings: I crave just about anything I can't have..lol

Best moment this week: I have dilated to a 2. Hopefully she will make her appearance soon!! I am ready to see what she looks like.

Movement: There is still lots of movement. She has started getting the hiccups more often now. 

Sleep:Sleep is back not being be friend these days. 

Symptoms:I am dealing with extreme emotion. One moment I am happy the next I am crying. 

Cravings: I crave just about anything I can't have..lol

Best moment this week:I had my Dr appointment yesterday. It is always a joy to here Geneva's heartbeat.

Movement: There is still lots of movement. She has started getting the hiccups more often now. 

Sleep:Right now I have been sleeping quite a bit. Which is good because I won't get much when Geneva gets here.

Symptoms:I am dealing with extreme emotion. One moment I am happy the next I am crying. 

Cravings: I crave just about anything I can't have..lol

Best moment this week: My sister had my niece Whitnee feel my belly when Geneva had the hiccups. Her eyes got big and had a big grin on her face. It was so cute!

Movement: There is still lots of movement. She has started getting the hiccups more often now. 

Sleep:Right now I have been sleeping quite a bit. Which is good because I won't get much when Geneva gets here.

Cravings: This week I have really been craving sweets.

Best moment this week:The best moment this week was my 32 week ultrasound appointment. We took Michael's mother with us. Though it would be good for her since Michael's father passed away a month ago. Here is the picture they sent home with us.

Movement:There is lots of movement. Its more of rolling around than normal kicking like it was at the beginning. 

Sleep:My sleep comes and goes. Some nights I sleep great others I am not so lucky. (I guess its getting me ready for a newborn.)

Symptoms:I am dealing with extreme emotion. One moment I am happy the next I am crying. 

Cravings: This week I have really been craving sweets.

Best moment this week: I think the best moment this week is just just watching her move in my belly. It is quite cool to see my belly move around. 

Monday January 23,2012

Today I watched my neice Bailey Grace while my brother helped a friend out. Boy was it fun. I always enjoy watching her! She is almost four months old. So it gets me some practice before Geneva gets here. It allows me to figure out how to continue with daily life while entertaining a baby. I will admit it was challenging. It will be even more challenging when Geneva is here because she will not be going anywhere as for Bailey Grace her parents come and get her a few hours later. I am sure I will find my groove when Geneva gets here. It almost makes me kind of worried of how I will do as a mom. People always say that I will be a great mom. I have had a lot of experience with kids from ages to newborn to ten years old. Though everyone says that it will be different with your own child. I have a lot of anxiety during this pregnancy. I have never had to deal with anxiety before so it is a major rollarcoaster for Michael and I. Michael has been great at keeping me calm. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have my husband. He has been wonderful to me through all my mood swings and anxiety attacks. The anxiety is more of the unknown of what is going to happen with labor and being a parent. I just put my anxiety and worries about it all to God. I know that he wouldn't have blessed me with this baby if He didn't think that I could handle it. I know He has a plan with it all. I just have to keep trusting Him.

Cravings: I always crave Mexican and sweets.

Best moment this week: My husband usually seeing Geneva move in my belly through videos I take but the other day he actually saw her move in my belly and it really freaked him out it was so funny!!!
